Koh Mook is a medium size island with about 2,000 inhabitants. We do fishing and plant rubber trees and welcome travellers stopping by. Koh Mook has two villages. One is located on the East side of the island and there you will find some shops, a buddhist temple and also a mosque. The other village is located in Phang-ka bay and there lives the fishermen and their families.
You will find Mookies on the West side of the island just above a beautiful white sandy beach with the jungle just above it. The water is warm and crystal clear and from Mookies you can easily visit the beautiful Emerald cave.
Koh Mook is an excellent starting point for discovering the islands in the vicinity of Trang. From here you can easily go to Koh Cheuk, Koh Hai, Koh Rok, Koh Ma, Koh Libong, Koh Ngai, Koh Waen, Koh Kradan, and Koh Lanta. We will be happy to help you find a ride!
